NOW HIRING: Shift Manager (Growth Path Position)
The Fountain on Locust is looking for a talented hospitality leader to help run the show at the iconic Fountain on Locust with the potential to become a leader at the BRAND NEW Fountain on Delmar set to open in June. Applicants should be friendly and engaging, with a desire to serve others.
The ideal candidates will train up to proficiency on all areas of our Front of House - including hosting, ice cream, bartending, serving and some basic administrative duties, specific to their leadership title. They will also cross-train on basic Back of House duties such as prep, salads, cold and hot line. Our Shift Managers are in charge of leading either opening or closing shifts, as needed - and help to lead both front and back of house crews to success during their shift.
Applicants should have some leadership experience and should be positive builders of people, able to delegate work, to train people with compassion and willing to roll their sleeves up and get dirty whenever needed. This is a support role, supporting all other members of the staff and will keep you busy on your feet.
Applicants should be hard-working, fast on their feet, quality-oriented, coachable, and willing to learn. They should also be sociable people who truly enjoy interacting with and serving others in their role.

IMPORTANT: The successful candidate for this position will have a unique blend of leadership and get-it-done skills. They will be able to keep track of our many projects from HR to building maintenance.
