Have you heard? The Fountain on Locust is opening a new location as part of a larger concept, Maker’s Locale, coming to the Delmar Maker District next Spring! This smaller location will focus solely on our delicious Ice Cream desserts, cocktails, and—of course—our signature Ice Cream Martinis. As St. Louis’s favorite retro dessert bar and restaurant, we are excited for the opportunity to expand and offer our tasty treats to a new part of our community!
What You Can Expect From Maker’s Locale
Maker’s Locale will be home to a collection of businesses connected by a large open air patio and garden area. Each concept has been selected for their delicious products, but also for their capacity to put on a show! All of the businesses will have large windows and open prep areas to allow guests the opportunity to watch the magic happen as their food, drink, or dessert is masterfully crafted.

The Lineup
Rest assured, our sister restaurant Steve’s Hot Dogs has got food covered! They will be serving up their entire menu of gourmet dogs and award-winning loaded fries. Alpha Brewing Company will be distilling bourbon, whiskey, and flavored 70-proof vodkas live on-location! They will also be offering Alpha Beers on tap and made-to-order St. Louis style pizzas. Nixta will have a 2,100 square foot event space available for hosting gatherings that will display different glass works made down the street at their studio.

Our team is excited to begin this new adventure! The Fountain on Locust leadership team is hard at work designing our new menu and interior decor, and finalizing our business plans.
